Many have asked how the Church sustains themselves, with such scarce offerings and so many fixed expenses?

The Church lives mainly from the offerings of the faithful, to carry out their own ends, “to ordain divine worship, to provide the support of the clergy and other ministers, to carry out works of the sacred apostolate and of charity, especially for the poorest".

The Diocese of Lisbon has therefore opened a bank account dedicated to the collection of offers, where each donor can, by the means available (MBway, ATM or Bank Transfer), indicate the recipient of his donation – diocese, seminary or parish in particular.
