What our visitors say

Ana Fernandes, Lagos

This is undoubtedly one of the most special churches in Lisbon. For its history, for its architectural and religious value, for the fantastic view over the city… I loved discovering the strong connection of Santo António to the Cathedral of Lisbon, visit the place where he will have performed his first miracle and where he was baptized … And also go through the entire museum nucleus of the See, which includes unique pieces!

Fernanda Maria, Tuk Away Lisbon

Visiting Lisbon in a different way in the Tuk Away project means discovering and making known one of the city’s ex-libris, the Patriarchal See, one of lisbon’s most significant monuments for its historical, religious and artistic value. It means being greeted by an excellent guide, Mário Salgueiro, who with all his enthusiasm made us go through 800 years of history. We left the visit richer and with the full conviction that we will be back soon!

Maria José Ferreira, Sintra

I visited the Lisbon Cathedral in the context of a guided tour for a group of official guides-interpreters and it was very interesting. André Luís was the excellent guide who accompanied us, adding much to our knowledge of the history of what is the oldest church in Lisbon and one of the few patriarchs in the Christian world. The visit was very fruitful! Also extraordinary was the visit to the Museum and Treasure of the See. thanks. We’re looking forward to the next one!
